Thin hair advice

So my hair is very fine. I wash it everyday or else it looks like a grease ball mess. I never feel it looks nice unless I get the chance to wash it in the morning (which is never with an 8 month old and 7 year old DSD). Can't explain it but it just makes me feel messy and horrible so I usually shove it up in a poor attempt of a bun.

Trouble is when washing it at night by the morning it just looks greasy and feels dry. If I try and straighten it it's pointless and 30 mins later it looks like it did when I woke up.

Anyone have any good shampoo/conditioner recommendations or products?

I put dry shampoo in it sometimes but just makes it feel worse.

For what it's worth I get it cut and highlighted every 7-8 weeks.

Have you thought about cutting your hair?

I've had my thin hair cut into a pixie and have a fringe that covers a particularly bald bit. It requires almost zero maintenance.

@MorningPlatypus

Not sure if I could pull off a pixie cut but I could gradually go shorter and see!

Would be ideal.

My hair is the same. I use John Frieda weightless wonder and find it is really good.

@Bookworm333 will give this a go! Thanks. Smile
