I'm trying to reduce my spending and not heading off for a wax was part of that.

If you shave your bikini area, how exactly?? With a mirror on a stand? Sitting over it? I was just in the bath stabbing around my nethers with a nervous hand. I've got most of it but really worried about cutting my delicates.

To start with I sat on the edge of the bath and had a well placed mirror. Super slow and careful as a beginner. 😁
Once you've had some practice you can whizz round it without looking and various positions. 👌

But I can (mostly) see my armpits, or just look into a mirror while I'm standing in a shower, my entire armpit points in one direction...

Have you considered hair remover cream? I don't know how it would compare to the cost of a salon wax but you can do it by feel and if you accidentally get some where you don't want it, the situation is fixed by quickly wiping it off.

Can I butt in and ask what you all shave your nether regions with? I'm getting the most irritating shaving rash post shave, regardless of whether I use an electric razor or a ladies razor

Get an electric/battery operated bikini trimmer. I just use it on the lowest setting, so not bare but nice and neat.

No I can't work it out for myself and no I'm not a perv. God's sake. I've asked an anonymous forum how to deal with something I don't understand and nobody talks about. As I did it I was thinking how nice it was that having been on this place since 2004 that there's somewhere to ask these questions that I'm too embarrassed to ask friends.
