Hairdressers did I completely invent this hair treatment

I had the classic new year new me epiphany and decided that my hair is my crowning glory.

anyway I swear I remember hearing about a hair treatment like Keratin smoothing but bouncy waves, I even remember it didn’t last as long as Keratin and obvs wasn’t as shiny. I’m in the market for a new hairdresser and none of them offer this service. The closest I got was one that described something similar but they shut up shop after new year ☹️.

Did I imagine this? If not, what should be asking for?

Polite bump, but I suspect I have my answer.

I think it’s called a digital perm, which is quite common in Asia. Have a look into it.

Thanks @kerosene20 I think that might be it. For some reason I was convinced they “blow dried” in, I think that’s the part I invented lol.

ok I can find 2 or 3 places that do it, I have the thickest heavy hair, hairdresser always underestimate how much there is, but the ads all seem to say a digital perm should work.
