Tinted moisturiser

I'm looking for a reasonably priced fair tinted moisturiser. I don't want to break the bank so under a tenner. I don't want anything too heavy as I hate the mask like feeling .

Just mix your moisturiser and foundation together

GlamGiraffe · 11/01/2023 18:17

The aldi bb cream is great. Lasts for ages too.

Eudaimonia5 · 11/01/2023 18:18

Garnier bb cream, it's a tenner full price but shops usually have offers on where it's around 6/7 pounds

Niftythrifter · 11/01/2023 19:30

Pop in to the no 7 counter and try that one. It’s more than ten pounds but there is a three for two offer at the moment on no 7.

100% agree. Always 3 for 2 so I wait and then stock up. Been using for over a decade. Spf50 or 30 and good for fair skin.

Overtherainbow9 · 11/01/2023 19:35

I use the No7 city light and I love it. It is slightly over £10, £13 I think but it's brilliant. There is often 3 for 2 on aswell as PP said so stock up on that!

I hardly use foundation anymore, just this with a bit of concealer and I'm sorted.

hoppityscotch · 11/01/2023 19:49

See if you can get a sample of the erborian BB cremes (they do various).

LillianGish · 11/01/2023 19:53

No7 Essentially Natural - Iots of shades. I absolutely love it and always stock up on it when I'm in the UK.

I vote for this too. Its just a bit more than a tinted moisturiser but not heavy for all year round. What shade do you use? I am cool ivory.

LillianGish · 11/01/2023 23:48

I’m warm ivory!

Polarbearyfairy · 12/01/2023 06:39

Another vote for mixing your foundation and moisturiser together!

GettingStuffed · 15/01/2023 10:45

I don't have any foundation which I find mask like that's why I want a tinted moisturiser. I also find BB cream too foundation like

Everyone raves about the N7 one.
The Erborian BB is like a medium-full coverage foundation, as are most BBs. CCs are more like tinted moisturizer but still give a heavier coverage.

Third this. No7 tinted moisturiser is fab it's called shield and protect. I always stock up on the 3 for 2. There's almost always a boots money off voucher kicking around too

I occasionally use a Garnier BB cream. It comes out white, but then changes colour on your skin. It's very mysterious but you can't tell you're wearing it except you just look somehow better. I do hear what you're saying about BBs being too mask like but it's definitely not like that, though admittedly I don't use huge amounts.

atteatimeeverybodyagrees · 15/01/2023 10:55

Dont be lured into spending loads on Chantecaille

greenacrylicpaint · 15/01/2023 10:56

garnier bb is nice (and a good price) but I find the smell quite strong.

boots intelligent colour also might fit the bill. it's very light feeling.

the body shop one is also good but has to be used sparingly otherwise it turns orange.

in winter they are not enough for my skin, I need an extra thin layer of moisturiser before adding the bb.

lookslikeabombhitit · 15/01/2023 10:59

Revolution pro creme skin perfector. It's a cc cream. I'm pretty pale and the fair one matches me beautifully and knocks the redness and unevenness out of my skin. Doesn't look or feel like you're wearing anything. Under a tenner too. 😊

SilverGlitterBaubles · 15/01/2023 11:01

Lancôme Soleil bronzer BB cream is SPF 50 very light coverage but a nice glow.

Oooh. Is it good?
I have the CC pressed powder and it's the best powder I've ever used. Knocks Chanel etc out of the field.

I really like it. It doesn't settle in my wrinkles (39 so admittedly I don't have loads but some concealers do settle in lines around eyes and this magic doesn't). Sits nicely on my skin, doesn't feel claggy (I'm not into wearing a lot of make up) and doesn't go orange on me either. 😊

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 15/01/2023 11:12

Nars is the absolute best. You need very little so it lasts a very long time (works out cheaper than a tenner in the long run).

PAFMO · 15/01/2023 11:36

@lookslikeabombhitit thank you!

HarryBlaster · 18/01/2023 09:41

I really like the Avon one. It absorbs really well and it’s a lovely tint without me looking orange. Plus a little seems to go a long way and so it’s excellent value for money. I wear it everyday.
