After advice, please, dear experts! I want to buy a beautiful sweatshirt for my son's beautiful gf when she turns 18 next month. She's teeny tiny, and habitually wears comfy joggers/jeggings with a cropped vest, topped off with a HUGE sweatshirt (usually one of his :)). I'd love to get her a really lovely, super-soft comfy sweatshirt that would feel properly luxurious, but still suit her casual style - budget £50/60 I guess. Any suggestions?

My 17yo dd likes brandy and melville, urban outfitters, H&m and sports brands (adidas, nike, puma, etc). She really likes a soft oysho one I got her in the sales.

My 18 year old and her friends all love Lulu Lemon

Forgot about Oysho, they do lovely hoodies and loungewear, beautiful packaging as well, so a great gift.

My 20 year old lives in little cropped gym tops and oversized sweatshirts, she loves Oner Active but they are generally hoodies or she recently bought a sweatshirt from Goose and Gander. Both brands are lovely and soft

Sounds like my daughter, she was looking longingly at Champion sweaters the other day.

She sounds like my dd who buys hers from the mens dept of h&m because they are really nice, not totally on the price.

I second Hari and the Gang for the cross neck hoodies if that's her style. A lot of the smaller businesses buy them from the same wholesaler and then put their own stamp on them.

The mutha.hood ones are great quality too.

I get mine for myself from the men's section of H&M. They're really soft and can obviously go up to really large sizes. You need to find out what (if any) brands she's into.

Dd18 usually goes for Pull & Bear or Urban but also has a couple from here (they ship to the UK):

Ooh. That sounds like a minefield to me. Won't it seem like your objecting to her borrowing his? The fact that they are his will be their main appeal, something similar but not his won't be the same at all. Sorry if that's raining on a good idea, but as a tiptoeing MIL I wouldn't do it.
