New glasses - pink frames. Mistake?

Needed a new pair of frames and fancied something a bit more 'jazzy' (have standard black pair with metal sides currently). I felt brave and ordered a deep pink colour.
DH just said I'll look like Sue Pollard and now I'm full of regret.

What do you think of coloured frames? Have I made a poor choice?
I saw someone wearing a pair recently and thought they looked cool. I'm 40.

Mine are a little darker. Love yours.

I had some neon pink frames and I loved them and felt great in them and I hope you will feel great in yours they are fantastic. People are dicks though I had 3 nasty comments from people while wearing mine
One from a man I didn't know who was doing some work in my office. He told me he couldn't take anything I said seriously because of "those things on your face" then asked me to take them off so I would look "much better"
I'm still fuming to this day about it.

I love colourful glasses! I have rainbow ones currently and I get loads of compliments. I'm sure you'll rock them x

Would you not maybe get tired of them quite quickly? The novelty of colour could wear off.
