Soft black socks

I like Next's black ankle socks but they get a hole on quite easily. Any other recommendations for soft black ankle socks?

Bamboo socks are very soft.

Do they get holes in quickly?

DS wears his John Lewis black school
socks out of choice all the time as he says they are the most soft and comfortable- not had a hole in them yet either.

Primark. I don’t get socks anywhere else now. They have varying thickness and wash well.

I wear Matalan bamboo socks, both ankle and knee length under trousers with boots. They are about £2 a pair and I've found them to be pretty good. They wash well too.

I don't like cotton socks, bamboo is so much softer and very comfortable.

I've just discovered bamboo socks. It's like wearing clouds.

M&s bog standard cotton black ankle sock have a cushiony sole - didn't realise until I put them on, it was a wonderful surprise!

The sumptuously soft ones are nice but quite thin and leave lots of "bits".

Think they are the "ultimate comfort" ones.

I just got a set of ankle socks from Skechers - they were SO expensive for socks but they’re lovely quality and sure they will last a long time.

HyggeTygge you are absolutely right about the sock fluff on the carpet from the Sumptuously Soft socks.
You sound as if you know your socks. 😄I’m going to look for the comfort ones you described next.

I'm currently looking for some to replace the ones I got from M&S which have got holes in ridiculously quickly.
