SPF for face.

Hello,
I'm currently using Origins Plant prescription SPF, which I find too greasy looking. Before that I tried Loccitane Immortelle precious, which I hated the smell of. Which is odd because my usual moisturiser is the non SPF Immortelle precious.

I have an Olay one that I use too if I'm about and about first thing and I'm planning on having a shower later. I find that greasy looking too. I think it's miracle whip.

I have oily skin on my chin area, and dryish elsewhere.

I'm going to switch to using an SPF on top of moisturiser I think. Does anyone know of some which don't smell, and won't leave me looking greasy?

I'm being very generous with the origins stuff at the moment to get rid of it.
Thank you!

Just to add, I don't have a department store nearby where I can browse and sniff stuff and check for oilyness. Just a Boots.

Garnier spf 50. Especially for the face. Brilliant stuff, about a fiver.

Montague22 · 06/01/2023 15:12

La Roche-Posay Anthelios

Claudia84 · 06/01/2023 15:17

Cetaphil spf 50

TimmyMeatballs · 06/01/2023 15:18

Biore watery essence is great

PaulRobinsonsSeventhWife · 06/01/2023 15:22

LRP Anthelios here too, doesn't sting my eyes, make up sits fine on top of it, easy to use tube, often on offer somewhere

Plump82 · 06/01/2023 15:25

Aldi Q10. Love the stuff.

uggmum · 06/01/2023 16:18

Have you tried La Roche Posay. I love their products.
I use their sun range whenever I travel but it's good for everyday too.

AdelaideRo · 06/01/2023 16:26

Ultraviolette. I use the mineral one SPF 50 (lean screen) but they also have chemical sunscreens.

I'm allergic to chemical sunscreen.

GoodbyeErinsborough · 06/01/2023 16:48

Ultrasun face

It's an all day cream and I wear it under makeup

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/01/2023 17:18

Dermalogica or ultrasun.

Ohjustboreoff · 06/01/2023 17:22

Any Korean or Asian SPF is fantastic. Try getting a mineral sunscreen and SPF 50. I wear SPF 50 all year round. My favourites are Biore watery essence, Etude House Sunprise SPF50+ but my favourite at the moment is Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotic.

I also use Australian Gold tinted mineral SPF50 in the winter to give me some colour as I don't wear makeup.
Try websites Stylevana or Skin Cupid, you can get some on Amazon too.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I got the Liberty advent calendar for Christmas and I've become a bit obsessed with skin care.

La Roche Posay was on my list to try, so I'll try that next. And then i can work my through the others if need be.
