I'm overseas just now but seen some things in John Lewis sale I fancy (hence style and beauty!). I've always just collected stuff as soon as possible before but can I put a date in say in 2 weeks time to collect?

JL c&c parcels are held for 7 days, I'm pretty sure. Otherwise shops would be overrun with parcels.

Oh I thought this was going to be a moan about how they charge £2.50 for click and collect which is outrageous! I think you can usually name a day though?

CurlyFerret · 05/01/2023 12:59

You can name a date in advance, not sure how far but you’ll see before you check out. Then as @keepaweatheredeye says you have 7 days from its arrival in store before they send it back - a combination of both those might be enough time for you

You can also email and ask them to hang onto it for a few extra days if needed - I used to work there and the team in click and collect we’re happy to do it.

They charge SO much just to post now.

Spellegrin · 05/01/2023 13:59

Thanks all. @sbam that's interesting to know and helpful :)

You can also click and collect from any Waitrose and I think some Coop stores- maybe Booths too?
