Eyelid base recommendations

I'm 50 and would like something for my purplish, veiny eyelids. I don't usually wear eyeshadow or eyeliner so would like something that looks natural on its own. I don't want anything cakey or obvious as I don't wear much makeup anymore, just bb cream, cream blush, lipstick and clear mascara. Thanks!

Something like p Louise base for the eyes would work really well

Try a bit of concealer (high coverage but tiny amount)
Budget 'essence' from wilko
Or Charlotte Tilbury the new one. Set with a pressed translucent powder (tiny amount on a fluffy blending brush) this is so it stays and doesn't crease.

You can try shadow sticks too, draw on and blend/pat out with your finger or a fluffy brush again. Peaches and Cream do some good and very reasonable brushes (from the website direct or Pretty little thing)
Good shadow sticks are bobbi brown and Laura mercier caviar sticks..in vanilla, caramel or ginger.
