Best blackhead remover

DD2 is 10 and has terrible blackheads on her nose. I keep seeing adverts for this mask on FB that pulls them out but the site looks very dodgy, which makes me think it is probably a scam. But can anyone recommend a mask or cleanser that would work?

She cleans with either Cerave or tea tree wipes but think she needs something to unblock the pores. TIA

I know the ads you're talking about and they're definitely not showing real results!

Look for products that contain salicylic acid (also known as BHA - beta hydroxy acid) which helps to clear blackheads and blocked pores. Paulas Choice do a range of gentle but effective BHA toners and lotions, which I find work really well. Biore also do pore strips for blackheads, although these are a lot less gentle on the skin, so I would try a BHA product first.

Ooh, introduce her to the joy of cheap blackhead strips from Poundstretcher-type shops - 6 for £1 usually. Use after a shower so pores are open. Then take the PP’s cleansing advice.
