Thick long-sleeved white top recommendations PLEASE!

Please give me your recommendations!

I've been looking for a plain, thick-ish long-sleeved white top for months - I've tried Levi, & Other Stories, Abercrombie, Stradivarius, M&S etc. and I still can't find one that doesn't expose my bra or feel really flimsy. I don't want a jumper either, although a thin jersey would do I suppose, just something form-fitting, bright white and nice. It'd be nice if it had a high neck - definitely not a V-neck but I'm not fussy other than that. There has to be one out there, surely!

Another one for Uniqlo. I wear their long sleeved tops all the time.

@Niftythrifter I had my eye on that one but then it went viral and now it's completely out of stock!

I have one like you describe but in pink from Cos. I’m almost certain there was white. I have a fab almost plain white one though from Adidas which I inherited from a child! Might be worth a look on sports sites if you’re happy with even a small logo on?

You could try searching for a “double layer white top” - Boden, Jigsaw and the White Company all have them, although they are low/scoop necked.

I’m on the hunt for something that is more t-shirt like though too. Really annoying that almost all options out there are transparent! (The COS one looks like a good shout generally although the neckline wouldn’t suit me).

This one from Land's End is a turtleneck and available in white, I don't have the white one but have it in a couple of other colours and they're great for winter, warm, soft and wash well

The heavyweight COS t-shirts are excellent. Lovely thick smooth cotton that won't show a bra. They wash well and wear well.
Search for Pima or Supima cotton, it's a heavier weight. Sometimes H&M have some heavier weight cotton tops.

I bought a few of these in different colours about 5 years ago, and they are still going strong. The white does not show my bra. The review from Nov2022 suggests that the quality is still good.

These ones from Cos are brilliant and last well too.

Lands End. Their supima cotton tops are generally fairly thick, but still stretchy. Cotton modal tops generally thinner, but more drapey.

I have these in various colours, I also have the vest version too. They're great, wash well, good stretch and not transparent.
