Handbag trends for 2023

I'm in need of a new bag but have no idea what's in and what's out these days. I liked the look of camera bags but I think they're a bit passé now aren't they? What's the shape that's on-trend at the moment?

Following as I need a new bag too. I want a smallish black crossbody in good quality leather. I have my eye on Furla gilda mini tote at the moment...what I really want is Loewe puzzle bag but I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a bag. Neither is on trend though.

Ignore bag trends in terms of spending loads of money if it’s a flash in the pan trend. Have a look at preloved and in charity shops OP as a little hunting around might mean you can buy the trend and get good quality for high street prices and you can donate it back when/ if you get sick of it.

Forget about what is on trend. Buy what you like.

When you are able to pick your clothes and accessories without considering if it passes for current "trend" it becomes a whole lot more enjoyable.

I think the puffy and baguette styles are on their way out - I’m not a massive fan though.

I’ve just bought a camera bag and I think they’re not the in shape for the next season but it’s a classic shape like a tote or top handle which’ll never be out of style.

Pick what you love and what suits your lifestyle the most. Unless you have £££ in which case get a couple of the micro mini embellished bags from Chanel and wear them at the same time whilst having your PA hold your actual stuff.
