Flat Knee Boots

Has anybody seen any knee high boots that fit my criteria ( and are still available!):
Flat as possible sole
Black real leather
Not too chunky
Accommodate a relatively wide calf but don’t collapse around the ankle ( which are slender)
Can be worn with a dress or leggings and look good enough for work but not like I’m dressed up?

All I can find are really chunky soled boots which make me feel ridiculous! I had the perfect pair from office years back but they wore out. They had a zip down the back of the calf and an almond shaped toe area. I have never found anything similar since.

I have these (or possibly similar) www.johnlewis.com/gabor-brook-medium-length-leather-boots/p109069344

Really comfy, soft leather.

I have these too - useful wardrobe addition and the elastic means generous calf width.

Are the Caddy boots difficult to get on without a zip ?

I found them very tight on my calf but what made them
impossible to get on was the footbed. There’s a leather but that sort of follows the back of your heel before the elastic starts. This kept folding underneath my foot making it impossible for me to get my foot in.

Fairfax & Favor Reginas, but they are pricey. I got a second hand pair, but new condition still in the box, off ebay for a good price. They do different calf fittings and are slim in the ankles.

I'd second this, they're quite fine and fitted.

Sorry @Manaslave18 posted too soon. Does it not show like this for you?

@mnhq any comment? What does this mean?

Internetstranger · 11/01/2023 15:40

@Flyinggeesei234 I can see the ‘promoted to Mumsnet’ thing too and it’s a pinned thread for me so comes up in every topic.

Pretty funny really. I reported the issue to Mumsnet yesterday but nothing’s changed 🤷‍♀️

Luckily I do love flat knee boots

I've got two pairs of Olivers from Moshulu - I think they're a precursor to the Knave 2. They have lacing up the back so you can adjust them perfectly to you. I love my Olivers.

Only thing I found is that they're big - I could easily have gone down a size and used to have to wear two pairs of socks (one chunky) so I didn't get blisters.

This threads now showing up for me as promoted by Mumsnet too. Very odd. I hope I’m getting a cut of any ad deals they’ve made with boot retailers recommended in this thread 😂

Ecco

AmberGer · 20/01/2023 10:44

I don't know if you've found any you like yet @Manaslave18

I have these in lagoon and they're so comfortable and accommodate my wide calves as they can be adjusted.

They are also in the sale at the moment and if you need it, I have a refer a friend 15% discount code
