Hello, I need a wedding outfit but it needs to cover my skin and not be too fitted. I converted to Islam years ago and I've never been happy with my dressy outfits since so I'm hoping for help here! All the Muslim women I know where Asian-style clothes but I don't feel comfortable in them as they're not me. So I'm looking for either a long dress or long skirt or trousers and something long-sleeved (could be the dress itself). I suit blue and green. I don't wear heels or make-up so I don't want something that overwhelms me, but then on the other hand I'm 5ft 7 and slim. I'll also be pairing whatever it is with a headscarf. I've found in the past then when I dress up it's easy to end up feeling frumpy from too many layers. I don't love smart jackets. Thanks for reading!
