Past month my skin around my mouth has become really dry and flaky. I've not changed my skin care routine, not sure anything has really changed. But it's effecting my self confidence as I always feel so flaky and I'm sure it looks awful. Wearing make up just makes it look worse. Any ideas?

Looks like eczema
I'd try some e45 plus c cream over the counter and moisturise well

Thank you, I've never had eczema before, I guess it's something anyone can get at anytime?

Usually weather related and putting the heating on doesn't help. Your not "meant" to put it on your face but you can get hydrocortisone cream that will clear it up in a couple of days. Just don't keep using it.

I'd go for an over the counter hydrocortisone. Use it for a couple of days only

I’ve got this, also dry skin on eyelids- Googling looked more like seborrheic dermatitis??

TwittleBee · 04/01/2023 10:55

Just wanna say thanks! I stopped using all other skincare, just washed with water only and used the suggested over the counter hydrocortisone and its all cleared up!
