Popped into Mulberry today for a nosey and was shocked to see they have a collab with Miffy, yes the white rabbit from yesteryear. Is anyone actually buying a £1000 handbag emblazoned with a toy rabbit?!?

Some of the SLGs are cute but I’d rather buy in the sale.

I think it's aimed at the Chinese/ Japanese market. The models in the Miffy/ Mulberry campaign are Asian. When LV and Yayoi Kusama first collaborated, I was in Asia where LV/YK bags were everywhere. Never seen in them on anyone in the UK.

I think their collaborations can be very hit and miss. I loved the Alexa Chung collection, but the Nicholas Daley bags were too boho for my taste. The thing about Mulberry is there's usually something for everyone to like. It's very broad.

What a great collab. Chinese lunar new year is almost upon us - it's year of the rabbit, so will use this as an excuse to treat myself.

Well I'm glad someone likes them! It's not that they're not cute and I hadn't clocked the Asian connection. To me, Miffy is a character from a book I read as a kid. May as well put Peppa pig on it. Actually, I might buy that...

Loewe had a successful collection with my neighbour totoro also a cartoon. I think the miffy bags are cute. Although I won't be buying.

I love them!
I do have several Mulberry's and this summer went to the Miffy store just outside Amsterdam and bought a pleather bag. I may just be tempted by the Bayswater. I adore Miffy!
