Perfumes under £10

I'm looking for nice perfumes under a tenner. Not expecting them to last 12 hours, so quality doesn't particularly matter. The last perfume I bought was years ago in New Look and around £5. It was really nice but they don't seem to do perfume any more?
Any suggestions for places that do nice ones?

Zara do some at £7.99 there’s one called AppleJuice( I think ) which I’ve got and always get complimented on .
Primark also do their own perfumes some of which are quite nice but don’t leave a long lasting scent .

Will check out Zara, thanks.

If you have a The Original Factory Shop near you they do some great dupes for about £5 each.

MissBattleaxe · 30/12/2022 00:37

Try Avon. They have a lot under ten quid. I recommend Rare Onyx, Soft Musk and any of the FarAway range. You can order from the website. You don't need an Avon rep. I also recommend Next perfumes and second the Zara recommendations too. Also M and S!

Avon do travel size versions for £6. My favourites are Far Away and Eve Truth.

MissBattleaxe · 30/12/2022 01:14

Yes Avon Eve Truth is a beautiful aquatic floral. Gorgeous!

I bought Zara’s Applejuice the other day( currently a big bottle on their website is £10.99 when I paid £12.99 in store 😤) and got the body spray for less than a fiver in the sale. It smells lovely.

TheHauntedPencilCase · 30/12/2022 07:39

I use another of Avon ones, had a couple I disliked but often on offer at that sort of price

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 30/12/2022 07:55

Definitely Avon. Timeless is a classic and lasts forever on me.
FarAway Glamour is lovely too imo.

winterpastasalad · 30/12/2022 08:13

Never thought of Avon! Is there any way you can get a sample first, or do you just have to buy before you smell them?

Aldi do some great Jo Malone ones. I wear them often as an everyday perfume if I'm going to the gym or supermarket. They smell good, are in a nice bottle and are around £6.

I've also heard people on MN. say good things about the Lidl ones - I think they tend to do Chanel dupes. I haven't used these.

Lykia · 30/12/2022 08:19

Sorry that should say Jo Malone dupes.

Also if you're a regular Aldi shopper often in their aisle of tat they'll have dupes of some really expensive perfumes for under a tenner.

roses2 · 30/12/2022 08:19

Have you tried Perfume Parlour? I discovered them through mumsnet and it's the only place I shop now. Perfumes are in your price range + postage (or free if you order 3+):

Another vote for Perfume Parlour. They are fantastic.

chipsandpeas · 30/12/2022 08:46

primark and next do good dupes of a lot of perfumes and pretty cheap as well

MooMinCow · 30/12/2022 09:17

Try Superdrug. They do a range in white bottles (L’Artiscent ?) that are dupes of high end fragrances. I have the exotique Musk one which smells like Tom Ford Santal Blush.

Coveredinivy · 30/12/2022 11:20

Savers often have great deals on perfume. They currently have a Ted Baker one for £9 that I'm going to buy later today.

Next is my go to for everyday perfumes and they have samples in the shop so you can smell them first. They're all good so it just depends on what you like. Marks and Spencer are great too.

MissBattleaxe · 30/12/2022 12:56

@winterpastasalad yes Avon sell samples and mini sprays online now. avon.uk.com/products/far-away-beyond-edp-sample

Murasakispillowbook · 30/12/2022 12:56

Superdrug Artiscents! They are brilliant.

MissBattleaxe · 30/12/2022 12:57

@MooMinCow yes, I've had some of those Artiscent ones. They're very often half price too. OP- they're not with the usual perfumes though, they're usually down an aisle somewhere by the body mists.

PAFMO · 30/12/2022 13:04

The Superdrug Bloom range is also great- Jo Malone dupes basically. (lime/basil/mandarin etc) I snagged a discovery set for £4.99 recently which had 6 of the fragrances in 10ml bottles.
DD is a budding perfumista (can't think where she gets it from 😁) and really rates the Zara ones. I do find them a bit sweet and teenagery tbf, though whenever she wears Twilight Maybe I ask "what is this again, it's gorgeous".
H&M have some great little scents, again, lots of which are Jo Malone style.
And of course the big M&S stores have fabulous perfumes in small bottles at about £7 a pop.

PAFMO · 30/12/2022 13:05

Also agree with Perfume Parlour. All my "Jo Malones" are from there.
