Preferably black, roomy but not huge. A tote or grab bag as opposed to a shoulder bag. Up to £100. Is this possible? I've looked online but hard to tell sizes & also weight. I bought a lovely bag online but it was really heavy even before I put anything in it!!

Try Longchamp le Plaige which is well within your budget.

I quite like a few on the Osprey website, does anyone have an Osprey bag?

I have a few osprey bags. I like them but they don't get a lot of love on MN. I think it's quite good quality for the price.

Thanks. Are they heavy? Sorry if that's an odd question but I suffer with shoulder & neck problems so don't like heavy bags.

Osprey are lovely bags apart from the lining imo. The lining in mine is so loose I can't use it any more asi get so irritated. I'm not sure it's the same with all their bags.

Would you consider a backpack? I get sore neck and shoulder pain sometimes and have found backpacks to be so much more comfortable!

fuckthemail · 29/12/2022 14:46

Some companies list the weight, or I'm sure if you asked them they would tell you. Then you could weigh a similar bag at home to check how heavy it would feel

Definitely Longchamp.

Not leather, but the Mia Tui bags are pretty light, and nice designs, and they often have good bundle deals

I am on the look out for a navy handbag. I've just bought a cross body mustard bag from Roka (still looking for a more formal bag but so in love with Roka colours and styles couldn't resist!)

I got a limited edition Camden Fog, Roka bag too earlier in the year for holiday with kids. Its fab quality, looks great but so versatile when need both hands free for kids! More than just a ruck sack should we say. Might be to causal but worth a browse. My sis in law has since bought one.

Interested to watch this thread though as need a new "proper" handbag!

I actually got a Roka backpack for Christmas. I love it but not for work. I need something a bit less casual for work.
