How to get loose/casual waves?

I've never been able to get the hang of using my straighteners for curls ☹️

Since having children my hair has thinned so much, and wearing it poker straight only shows how things it's gotten. I'd love a product that's easy to use, that would give me some loose curls/wave, for a bit of volume. My hair long, down to my boobs, but would be happy to chop a few inches off if I could style it to look better.

Any suggestions?

After washing it, comb it through, and when it is still damp, hold it up in a ponytail. Twist the ponytail and stick it up in a bun. Let it dry, then undo the bun.

If you've got any natural wave try some salt spray as it brings out the wave

I realised I used to like mine the day after I’d curled it, so now I just use tongs and salt spray the night before and overnight it relaxes from tight curls to lose waves.

Toni and Guy Deep Barrel Waver....I've never been able to get the hand of curlers, wands etc but this is amazing. Like a massive crimper and just as easy to use. Love mine.

YouTube dressing gown cord curls, or leggings heartless curls if your hair is really long.

You wind damp hair around on a night md the next morning have beautiful waves. Mine last about 3 days.
