Bath foams

Can anyone recommend a bath foam that gives good Bubble? I haven’t bought any for years, but recently had a new bath fitted and want to spend some time in it.
Not keen on ‘perfume label’ scents but there aren’t any smells I really dislike. Any price level, I don’t mind as long as there are lots of bubbles. Grin

Got a champneys one from boots
Bit pricy but you don't need much for a load of bubbles

SpamhappyTootsie · 27/12/2022 19:22

Thank you @Tilllly , I’ll be going into Boots this week so will have a look for that.

@SpamhappyTootsie check out the Champneys gift sets at Boots that are reduced if you go down the Chanpneys route. I saw some today.

I tend to prefer oils these days but for bubbles would go for Badedas

SpamhappyTootsie · 27/12/2022 20:00

@Niftythrifter oooh, I will have a look for those!

Badedas is a blast from the past! Always seemed to get some from Aunts at Christmas. Piney smell?

Radox?

SpamhappyTootsie · 27/12/2022 20:35

I did get a Radox but its bubbliness was a bit disappointing and the smell lingered for ages, bit strong.

L'occitane lavender bubble bath is glorious for a luxurious evening bath - worth every penny!

SpamhappyTootsie · 27/12/2022 20:44

I bought some of those little cardboad baubles from L’occitane as gifts this Christmas, I should have kept one for me.

I've always used Lush Bubble Bars which are great for bubbles but since finding out they were handing out free chest binders I'm looking for another bubble source ...

AriettyHomily · 28/12/2022 00:37

Anything, but run the bath from the hose attachment not the tap. More pressure = more foam.

DesolationRow · 28/12/2022 01:35

Or, if like me you only have taps, run the cold tap first at full blast for a very short while to create maximum bubble heaven.

SpamhappyTootsie · 28/12/2022 08:03

It’s an up and over mixer tap over a freestanding bath. The cold doesn’t come out with much more momentum than the hot. The hose attachment is one of those long thin ones that look like a microphone. I will need to practice my Hand Swoosh to release the bubbles.

I avoid Lush for the same reason. Body Shop too (although from memory, their stuff smelled nice but lacked Bubble).
