Shoes and Jeans

Good evening, I'm after some advice please.

I have a night out pencilled in for a few weeks time. I am after some lower but trendy heals to wear with jeans and a top. My aim is to remain upright for the night!

Additionally, where do you buy quality jeans from these days? Just got some OK ones from river island but the quality across brands overall seems to have gone downhill.

Do people still wear heels with jeans?

I don’t very often now, with the exceptions of boots under jeans a bit like first photo here. If you really want to, to update the look a bit I’d either 1) buy a pair of corduroy jeans and keep the heels strappy or 2) go oversize/ baggy/ balloon style with the jeans and an oversized shirt and then style it with heels (other two images attached).

I got corduroys fairly recently from Mango which seem to be good quality. For jeans I tend to stick to Levi’s but I also have an Arklet pair that I think are good quality.

Boden jeans are good quality from the ones that I have bought (girlfriend and high waisted wide leg ( now in the sale)).

I like ankle boots with jeans and do a reasonable heel.
