I’m late 40s and NY resolution is to try and up my make up game. Something reasonably natural looking but to give some glow to my skin. Am thinking of buying a primer, foundation and blush? Any tips for products that make a difference for a make up novice ?

clinique even better glow ( get yourself a sample) is glowy and was my regular foundation however I found that for me it was making my skin too shiny. I switched to M&S foundation which with primer works better for me . It’s this one www.marksandspencer.com/luminosity-radiant-skin-foundation-30ml/p/hbp22509976 As Clinique is sold in M&S now you will be able to get samples to try out both. I have found Maybeline’s Fit Me primer works well. I mix the primer and foundation together.

I'd just start with some Erborian BB cream and a Nars multiple stick (in Orgasm probably - depending on your colouring). When I'm feeling lazy, just 1 min total to apply them both and I suddenly look healthy and polished.
