Perfume dupes - Noted Aromas?

I'm trying not to spend much but am really tempted to treat myself to a bottle of Good Girl by Carolina Herrara. Then I stumbled across this and the reviews are good. Has anyone tried it? Or does anyone recommend any other dupes please? www.notedaromas.co.uk/products/barcelona

Hi I've ordered from Noted Aromas and the scents are brilliant, really strong, long lasting and like the original. I also ordered from The Essence Vault as they did cheaper bundles, and theirs were disgusting, nothing like the originals, really chemical smelling and I had to wash them off really quickly as they gave me a headache. There are mixed reviews of both companies, but in my opinion The Essence vault were dreadful, whereas Noted Aromas were brilliant, and I'm just going to put in another order! Hope that helps you :)

Hi everyone im new to the site me and my 16yr old daughter make dupe fragrances am I able to put a link to my site on here or is it against the rules. Any help will be very much appreciated as starting to struggle abit now trying to get our products noticed.

Thanks

I use PP a fair bit but haven't tried NA or EV.

I listened to a podcast recently where they compared a couple of dupe fragrance companies with the original. Perfume Parlour came out on top almost all of the time, with a good percentage of people even preferring it to the original.

They use a process called gas-liquid chromatography which analyses a fragrance and identifies its ratio of component parts which then makes it easy to recreate.

I think this is what makes PP able to most accurately produce good dupes. The ones I have used have been 95% accurate to my ( fairly good) nose. In some cases I prefer them to the original.

They also cover a lot of fairly niche scents, whereas Noted Aromas and The Essence Vault seem to just do the big hitting, high street fragrances along with some popular outliers like Le Labo Santal 33.

I think MN come down pretty hard on direct marketing like this, so no you wouldn't be able to link your site I'm afraid.

Self confessed perfume enthusiast here, NA are fabulous, I have several. I've tried various dupes and they are by far the best.

Haggis0307 · 04/09/2023 16:05

I'd avoid Noted, personally. I had a bottle of Cairo from them that's a dupe for Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir and was blown away by it. Finished the first bottle and reordered. The new one smells NOTHING like anything. In fact it barely has a detectable scent. Customer service were awful bordering on outright rude, basically called me a liar and said there was nothing they could do. I've ordered the dupe from Fragrance World instead and won't be going back to Noted, which is a shame as I loved the first bottle of perfume I got from there.

I would disagree politely. I received their Cairo again recently and it has not changed at all. Customer service were faultless when I had an issue with delivery. It is the only dupe company I would trust

Haggis0307 · 11/09/2023 14:03

Umm.... who's to say that there wasn't something wrong with the bottle I received? I'm not sure if you work for NA (wouldn't surprise me in the slightest) or why everybody keeps insisting that Cairo has not changed but the fact of the matter remains that THIS particular bottle does not smell in any way similar to my first bottle. It smells of hardly anything, and a number of people have agreed with me. Since you haven't smelled my bottle, respectfully, you have no idea what it smells like but I'm glad your most recent one wasn't a disappointment! :)

And I'm glad you had a better experience with their customer service than me! I'd have been happy to have been sent a replacement bottle or money off a new bottle without any of the snarky attitude I got from them, but PP is now my go-to (and I actually think their scents are longer lasting). Fragrance World's dupe was good but didn't seem to last long.

LateMumma · 11/09/2023 14:31

I've used Essence Vault before. The first time it was great, the second time (same fragrance) was awful. It smelt very 'raw' and a lot like aftershave.

Can't speak for your bottle, but like I said mine had no issues. A lot of my friends now use them as well.
Not looking to start an argument with you, glad you have found something you like.
