Can you find me an investment wool jumper in black?

I've decided there's a gap in my wardrobe and strangely nowhere seems to sell black! I've checked Oubas, Toast, The Knotty Ones, Yantan, Poetry, People Tree and more...

Requirements:

• 100% wool or possibly a mix but natural fibres only
• some interest, ideally texture (no plain crew or v-neck ones - I have a basic merino one already)
• budget up to around £175 (could maybe go up for the perfect jumper I can wear for years)

I've attached a couple of examples of jumpers I like. Can anyone find something like this in black?

Have you had a look at Chinti and Parker? They have quite a few black jumpers - almost all 100% wool or cashmere and I can vouch for them lasting a very long time

Genevieve Sweeney knitwear is lovely. This one has a similar pattern to the ones you like above, it’s charcoal though so not sure if it will be a deep enough black for you. Also a bit over budget. But very lovely!

I have some M&S cashmere black jumpers. I'm allergic to anything except cashmere. I bought some in their sale, and some on Ebay.

Ami Amalia has a few black jumpers, I love the Clouded Squares pattern this is one in black.

I bought a black cashmere one from Sezane which is nice, has a little ruffled neck. I also have a black cashmere one from Uniqlo and a black merino one from Genevieve Sweeney

So many brands these days do all acrylic/polyester knits it's hard to find anything natural.

As well as Ami Amalia, I just realised nobody had recommended & Daughter, so would say that’s worth looking too! They have a sale on at the mo.

Another Finisterre sugguestion
Note that us is 20% recycled synthetic fibres. I'm very much an "all natural fabrics" person, but I have found that 100% wool/cashmere jumpers damage very easily, and 20% synthetic makes them a bit more hard wearing, without feeling plasticy.

I've gone for this from Komodo - a bit different from what I originally had in mind but it definitely ticks the box for being a bit different with the pattern (you can see it better in the photos of the other colours!). Well under budget too!
