Eye shadow with staying power recommendations

Can anyone recommend a brand please of eye shadow, pref shiny or metallic that will stay put! Don’t mind expensive if it works. Thank you xx

Nars is good.

Whatever brand you go for - use a primer. That's the key to getting colour to stay on (and glittery/ shimmery pigments not to migrate half way up your forehead...)

Yes it's the primer that makes it stay. I have a smashbox one, you just use a teeny bit and your eyeshadow will not budge all day and night

Maybelline colour tattoo is brilliant and isn't expensive.

Yes to primer first. Following on from a thread on here, I bought Barry M Lid Locker. Excellent product for a fiver. Urban Decay one gets good reviews but is more speedy.

Urban decay shadow has a great pigment

This is my favourite shadow but it’s the reason I started this thread. I have a gorgeous green metallic I love but it doesn’t last! It is however quite old, maybe six years! So am wondering if that’s the reason. Can’t remember if it ever stayed on.

Revlon cream shadows and Kiko Eyeshadow Sticks are good.

Same here! Now using the Barry M which is far more effective (and cheaper) than the Urban Decay one I was using.

Bobbi brown long wear stick shadow is good!

Yes to the Barry M, I've been using it for about a year and it makes a huge difference.

Fenty for me but always use eye primer
