What colour dye

So ladies, I am going to be 'best woman' for my very good friend next year. As I'm on the guys side of the wedding I have chosen a shift dress with a jacket - bride, groom and mother of the bride approved. All's good. This is the dress www.phase-eight.com/product/mariposa-floral-lace-bodice-dress-208861840.html#cgid=occasion&is=false&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&pid=208861840&pos=6 and I'm going to get it professionally dyed to match in with the other groomsmen. The groomsmen have a blue suit (I'd describe it as a deep blue, but not as dark as navy), same colour waistcoats and a cornflour blue tie to match the bridesmaids.
The lace part of my dress is a separate item so I could get it dyed a different colour - do I go whole thing deep blue, or would you get the lace overlay in the cornflour blue please?

I would look for a similar dress in the right colour.

I've looked - all deep blue dresses are navy, sometimes almost black. The suits aren't that dark so finding any dress in the right colour is proving extremely difficult

The colour is royal blue in suits

Midnight blue might be the colour.

The dress is polyester so it’s going to be difficult to dye. I’d take it to professionals and ask their advice. It might be easier to find another dress, lovely as that one is.

Sorry, just read the op properly. If they can do it I’d go for a cornflour blue lace overlay - I think it would be too severe otherwise.

I really think you need to find something in the right color. It's a complete gamble if the fabric will dye evenly or the color you want it.

Colour wise these might do? with a buttonhole to brighten it up, -

but it might be better to find a dressmaker and ask her to copy the phase eight outfit in the right colours.

Hadn't thought of a dressmaker, thank you!

As mentioned by a pp, it's polyester. Unlikely to take dye well
