Small back bras for teen

I have tried all local lingerie shops but can't get a 26 back bra for dd. She's actually only 24 ish so 28s are a bit too big. I tried brastop and a couple of others online but no luck. She's been wearing sports crop tops up to now but would like a "proper" bra. Anyone have online retailers to suggest please?

I had this problem with my dd, she fell in the gap between large(r) cup size and smaller back size. It was really annoying and I spent a fair bit of money on bras that never really fitted her. It was during lockdown, so that didn't really help, either.

The best we've come up with is Panache Elan - she has a 28E, I think she is probably a smaller back than that, but she doesn't need the support of something punishingly tight at her age and it looks okay. The thing is, this is her adult size. She's not going to do any more growing, she's the same size as her nana. Where do these adults get their well-fitting bras from?

Boux Avenue tend to come up small. Check bratabase for exact models that do.

Some M&S bras are small in the back too.

M&S do a teen range, they even have some crop top style tops with a bra back. I,sure they'll have something.

I agree with PP about Boux Avenue… I buy from there a lot and they always come up small. Their smallest is a 28 but I think it could be fine for a 26.

Just had a google La Redoute do 26" and SHEIN (okay I know) do 24" it's labelled as age 9-10

Thanks so much. I didn't look at m&s as I hate their bras myself but it might be worth a look for dd as well be near a big one today. And I'd forgotten about Boux Avenue, and never thought of la redoute. Excellent starting points, thanks!

I would go to Bravissimo. They are well trained and will help your daughter find the perfect fitting bra. My daughter was a 30E at 12 and they were excellent.

I agree with housewife, Bravissimo could be key, I tried Boux Avenue and M and S for my DD and nothing fitted.

If you're an actual 28 or a 26, Bravissimo are ok but in my experience they don't have many smaller 28s. 26s are barely made and not in any mainstream brands.

Make sure you get her properly measured and fitted. I was a 26 (now 28) but in the days when there were no bands of that size. DM and her mum (nana) were both very small busted (compared to me) so both weren’t much help!

I’d order a few from each shop and in different styles, balconette, Demi balconette etc.

Colour wise go for nude, white or black, maybe a colour if on special offer.

Ewa Michelak - Polish brand does 26s. I think they also do made to order. Not so cheap though.

We aren't in the same country as a bravissimo unfortunately or I'd definitely have taken her there. We went into M&S and after trying on a few sizes and styles managed to find one she was delighted with. She was measured by two of our local independent shops recently so we had a good starting point. Thanks for all the different suggestions, well have some options when she needs more in the next few months.
