Yesterday I bought a new tube of 8 hour cream. In less than 24 hours it has fixed my chapped lips, healed my lingering angular cheilitis (Pringles mouth), sorted out my cuticles and generally made me as happy as can be. I'm slapping it on everything.

What are your hero products?

Nivea Soft. I wish they did it with an SPF, that would make it pretty much perfect.

I’ve also become obsessed with urea cream. I get mine from a Spanish brand called Instituto Español, or sometimes CeraVe if I’m in the US.

Rainbowshit · 19/12/2022 08:07

Blistex I'm the metal tube. Best lip balm hands down.

Weleda skin food

Lamroche possy cicaplast balm

Clarin's hand cream

Paula's choice BHA. Although I am liking the COSRX one I have just bought too.

Rainbowshit · 19/12/2022 08:09

Korean Italy cloths.

Philip Kingsley elasticiser.

KangarooKenny · 19/12/2022 08:13

Liz Earle Superskin moisturiser with Neroli.
I also love the eye cream, skin oil, lip balm and serum.

LaMarschallin · 19/12/2022 08:26

Ren Flash Rinse One Minute Facial.
Amazing stuff - rub it into your skin, add a little water, wait one minute and rinse off. Even if I've really neglected my skin it feels gorgeous after this.
Worryingly, it seems impossible to find on Ren sites, but still available from suppliers on Amazon.

L'Oreal Double Extension mascara (red and white tube). I've been asked if I'm wearing false eyelashes when I've got this on and it doesn't shift. I've slept in it (I know...Blush), cried in it, forgotten I was wearing makeup and rubbed my eyes...
But it comes off really easily with warm/hot water.

Dr botanicals Lm lemon superfood all-in-one rescue butter.

CSJ113 · 19/12/2022 09:53

Skincare:
Another vote for Sudocreme for shave rash and minor cuts/grazes
Doublebase for cleansing sensitive bits in the shower and moisturising skin (leaves a lovely sheen)
Face Halo pad for cleansing - way better than I expected (still need a specific remover for my waterproof mascara but only a tiny amount now)

Makeup:
Hourglass powder in Dim light (£££ but amazing)
Erborian CC and BB creams

Sadly discontinued though!

Noooo!! 😭

Shitfather · 19/12/2022 13:00

Barry M Lid Lock, which a kindly poster raved about a few weeks ago. Cheaper than the Urban Decay one. It’s very good!

Ooo I'll look that up, I could do with an eyeshadow primer. Barry M Chisel cheeks contouring sticks are pretty good if you like a cream contour.

Fancyateapottea · 19/12/2022 20:05

For my skin it has to be Hada labo premium lotion and tretinoin (skin &me).
For my hair it’s Elasticizer from Philip Kingsley- the only hair mask of many that makes a real difference to my hair

Fancyateapottea · 19/12/2022 20:06

Make-up wise it’s erborian bb & cc creams, ELDW, hourglass face palette and Avon glimmer sticks

declutteringmymind · 20/12/2022 18:47

Mine are:

8 hour cream

Blisteze for lips but 8 hour cream almost as good

Paula's choice BHA

Olaplex no 3

Body shop drops of light liquid peel

Korean wash cloths

Footner foot peel

Bobbi brown serum foundation

Chantecaille liquid bronzer and blush

Rimmel exaggerate eyeliner

Chanel quad smokey eye palette

Laser hair removal.

Rapid lash for eyelashes

Lancôme bifacil eye makeup remover

Zo medical exfoliating face wash

Skin and me subscription.

Currently using Venn multi purpose serum. Still looking for the Holy grail.

CorneliaStreet · 20/12/2022 19:29

Flexitol heel rescue balm. Sorts out cracked, dry skin on your feet pretty much overnight.

Burts Bees Honey lip balm and Nuxe Rev de Miel lip balm. I’ve tried so many and these are the two I like the best.

La Roche Posay Toleraine crème. Brilliant facial moisturiser if your skin is at all sensitive.

Sol de Janiero body lotion, particularly the Bom Dia and Bum Bum ones. The original one smells incredible and the Bom Dia is great for KP on the upper arms.

Mustella emollient balm is the most hydrating and nourishing cream. Designed for babies.

Prickly pear oil and argan oil from Morocco.

NipnFab glycolic pads

Sisley black rose cream.

How do you source your Argan oil please?

chocolateasaltyballs22 · 20/12/2022 22:04

Elf Holy Hydration moisturiser. I use it when I'm feeling skint and can't afford my usual Clinique.
Avon Glimmerstick eyeliners - doesn't budge
Vaseline for lips
L'occitane Shea butter hand cream

Herboristerie Firdaous in Marrakech. I did a lot of research before buying from them. Love their products. They have a WhatsApp business number if you want to get in touch with them.

I bought in person during my trip and asked family to bring my products when they visited. They post internationally too.
