Dark emerald?

Would you call this too light for dark emerald?

I've ordered this as a present. They asked for dark emerald. I think this is the nicest I came across in correct kind of price but now I'm having doubts 😬

I think you could call that dark emerald OP. And it's gorgeous. What's the fabric/yarn composition?

Merino wool, viscose, polyamide, 5% cashmere. The viscose (37%) also worrying me!

They asked for top/pullover. I was going to ask her to elaborate but thought I should take the initiative!

What's the merino %?
The viscose is prob fine, I hate polyester but don't mind viscose at all.
I think you've made a good choice personally.

That's a lovely top but I wouldn't call it emerald. They probably won't mind though! Wish you were buying presents for me OP!

If the asked for dark emerald I think they would this this was mid-Green (like I do)

I agree with PP - I would say this is mid green, emerald would be quite a bit deeper in my mind. It is lovely looking though!

That's a jade green.
Emerald would be deeper.

45% merino wool

I've now got 4 other jumper/pullover items in various virtual baskets as I hmmm and haaaa about it!

It's for my dsis and I always try to get her a good present!

Like these 2 which are deffo darker although more casual.

Both say 80% recycled wool

this is dark emerald, looks like reduced since I bought it! Jigsaw have some other things in this shade.
Also Uniqlo merino jumpers have a good deep green .

Ted baker have a lovely ‘dark emerald’ jumper on sale… will check if it’s online (was in the Glasgow store today)
