Please help. I’m poorly too and my skin is dreadfully dry. It feels like sandpaper. It has been gettin g worse this past year. I have tried Clinique moisturiser, origins gel and Bodyshop oils of life.

Hi @90's
Try Hanna Sillitoe vitamin D cream from Holland and Barrett. I've been using it for just over a year. It was made for dry skin. My skin was like sandpaper and I tried everything and anything too.
Sometimes it's on special offer and there's other products in the range.
Google Hanna Sillitoe/ Dragons Den.

Cerave. I usually get a really dry T zone - particularly in the colder weather. Since using this I've not had one dry patch.

CeraVe is fantastic.

Controversial one here- but I think plain old vaseline is the best!

How do you cleanse your face? If you don't already, I would use either a cleansing oil or a balm with a muslin cloth. You can use the cloth to exfoliate any flaky bits.
If it's very flaky, I would try something super rich like La Roche Posay Cicabalm or Weleda Skin Food first.
