Unopened Old Perfume: how long could it last

I was cleaning my bedroom today and found a gift set (boxed and cellophane wrapped) of perfume and body cream. I'm guessing it's been there 10 years. I have no recollection of buying it but it was probably a bargain I couldn't resist 😳

I want to pass it on as a gift to my daughter but is it likely to be vinegar-like?
Will I get away with not having to come clean about its vintage?

Fwiw it's Hugo Boss Deep Red.

The body cream might have separated but the perfume would probably be okay. Could you give it in an 'I just found this' kind of way?

If it’s been out of sunlight and not too hot cold or damp it should be fine
