Stackers jewellery boxes - white or mink colour?

Out of these two colours, which would you choose, for timelessness and longevity?

(I do realise that they're very expensive. It's a one-off as a Christmas present from my dh and from Amazon they're slightly cheaper.)

White:

I think the mink is supposed to be slightly brown-ish, although it looks grey in the picture.

I have one in mink. It's definitely quite grey rather than brown. I'd go for that colour though; the white would get filthy.

I have a drawer full of these, I think mine are taupe. Which looks like a lighter version of the mink. It’s a greyish brown colour.

I have grey pebble and rose gold. I love them. Very useful.

I have the mink one! It's fab, doesn't mark or show dirt really. I saw the white in person and it was just a bit bright for me. The mink is more muted 😊

Mine are a pinky colour and I love it. I wouldn't fit for white just to avoid getting it dirty

Not the white, I would go for a mink/taupe/oatmeal as I think they look a little more expensive and ‘luxe’ than the white.

Mine are mink, they look good in my mostly beige room

I have taupe. But out of a choice of white & mink I prefer the mink

Thank you for so many helpful replies. The consensus seems to be to opt for the mink and that white would show the dirt too easily. I like the taupe and oatmeal best actually (for those who have mentioned them), but I wear all silver coloured jewellery (a mixture of real and costume, in reply to justasking111's question) and, rather bizarrely I know, can't get past the gold hardware! Thank you again!
