Xmas night out ideas please

I need some help, hive mind.

Xmas night out looming. Mid-50s and not skinny, going to play Junkyard Golf then some food, a few more drinks and maybe a dance.

What can I wear? Work with a much younger team, I don't want to look frumpy or mutton-dressed-as-lamb, but kind-of age-appropriately cool. Desperate for suggestions...

I think the secret is to choose colour and cut which suits you e.g at this time of the year there are a lot of party dresses/ jumpsuits/ tops which are black or has sequins. I look ridiculously in both but a friend of mine looks beautiful in them. We are a both 50 but it’s not about the age it’s about colours.
