Under eye concealer for sensitive skin

Can anyone recommend one, please? I have massive dark circles and always used Touche Eclat, then I discovered Collection's super cheap version, which I loved. Thanks to the menopause though I can now use neither of them - they irritate the skin around my eye. Anyone with super sensitive skin got any advice?

I find some make my eyes sting but have got on well with IT Cosmetics Bye Bye under eye, a little goes a long way.

I've had issues with sensitivity around my eyes (can't use Touché Eclat) and I love Trinny London BFF eye. Never had any issues since using it.

Oooh brill, thanks for the recommendations! Will give them a go. It's so frustrating that this has only just started happening, as Christmas is the one time where I have a few dressing-up occasions and I am so fed up of my eyes looking wrinkly!

The Estee Lauder double wear one is good. One end is a moisturizing serum, the other end a fluid concealer.

What about La Roche Posay or Roc.
Both "gentle on skin" French brands.

Oooh i love thé sound of the Estee Lauder one. Anything I can try in store first would be a bonus. And had forgotten about La Riche Posay - Will have a dig!

It is nice. The concealer isn't a light reflective one so it can be used on pimples, lumps and bumps without highlighting them.

Thanks so much @MistyRock. I went to my local Boots today and the lady on the EL counter told me they have discontinued this - but if it's available online that's clearly not the case! It's so frustrating cos ideally I want to try it before buying, but I think I am just going to have to bite the bullet and chance it. I can see me spending £100+ in my quest for the perfect concealer!

I'm exactly the same. Bought bye bye undereye recently (after getting a sample first) and so far so good.

Just to add - it's very different to touché eclat. It's much heavier coverage and conceals rather than highlights. I always loved the highlighting aspect of touché eclat around my eyes, but it irritates them so much now.

I am sorry. You are right it is discontinued. I bought mine in 2020 not in the UK. I'm guessing the double wear concealer is the same except it doesn't have the hydra prep on the end.

AlbertCampion · 12/12/2022 09:26

Ah that explains it - thanks for the tip though! I am going to try ones I can get samples for first and hope something works.

@DariaMorgendorffer I think I probably need more of a concealer anyway now. My eyes have got so dark that highlighting only isn't enough any more. The joys of getting older!
