Properly neutral brown/bright nude lipstick

Does one exist? I used to use a lovely Mac satin one but it disappeared, and ever since I’ve tried loads and none are right.

Mac mocha - too yellow
pillow talk - way too pale and pink
Mac velvet teddy - nice but too mauve/pink
chanel boy - lovely but too pale

etc etc

the Mac one was called luxe in case it helps, anyone found a current day equivalent?

Thank you - you're all really helpful. I think that the Luxe on Temptalia is different from the one I had, it was much more like Charlotte Tilbury ones. I used to use it with brown eyeliner as lip liner back in the day (90s!)

I am sure that one of the browns/nudes she has will do, I didn't realise she had so many

I would say to check out swatches other people have done of the charlotte tilbury ones. They often look different to the promo pics imo.

Have a look at Mac Faux as well. Might be a smidge dark but I'm very fair skinned and use this as my nude lipstick.

MAC Hug Me is a very browny nude (on me at least). It’s one of the lustreglass formulations so really easy to wear. I also used to buy Patisserie a lot but I think they might have discontinued it?
