Has anyone got an oodie or a snoodie as they are also called.
I got one on my last birthday as a bit of a joke, but they are warm first thing in the morning.

That was an expensive joke! But yes, they’re very warm.

Chattyamy18 · 05/12/2022 20:44

Possibly, but I believe you can get them in Primark.

You can get them off Amazon too.
I've got a stitch (lilo and stitch) I love it, have worn it a lot this week as I'm not very well and feeling cold all the time.

IAmTi · 05/12/2022 20:50

Yes genius

wildthingsinthenight · 05/12/2022 20:53

Yes I wear my DS's (14)😊
They are toasty! Ours is a fake one from Amazon. Just as good as the expensive ones

Tallulasdancingshoes · 05/12/2022 20:58

I got a cheap one from Amazon and I love it. So snuggly and warm. The kids have both put one on their Christmas list.

Chattyamy18 · 05/12/2022 21:00

Glad to say im not the only one wearing one.

Adore my cheapo Primark one. It’s one of the best things I’ve bought this year.

creamcheeseandlox · 05/12/2022 22:47

I've got one that goes down to my ankles...it's so warm that I'm guaranteed to fall asleep on the sofa when I'm wearing it. It's from Amazon and it's amazing.

Cynderella · 05/12/2022 23:21

They're hideous. Plastic fabric that'll take forever to break down. Hateful things.

But yes, I do have one - my daughter was given an Amazon one, and got one for her daughter. Then she tried my Oodie. I bought two - one for menfolk in the house. None of them would be seen dead in one. Then they started arguing over who needed it most.

Daughter is now awaiting delivery of a family pack, so we'll all have one. When I wake up, I get dressed - years ago, I'd have sat in a dressing gown before a shower. Now I get dressed and get some coffee. The Oodie is for evenings on sofa. I can turn heating off and I'm not cold.

If they are so bad for the environment as you claim why have you got multiple in your household? Confused

One each. Six adults. Six Oodies.

musicandpassion · 06/12/2022 08:53

I love my cheapo primark one. It's so ugly and I'd love a genuine Oodie, but it's worth looking terrible when it's freezing.

I don't understand this post.

I'm assuming it's sarcasm?

DashboardConfessional · 06/12/2022 09:16

I have a Kuddly. It's longer than an Oodie and the deals were better (mine was £30ish in October).

I love mine but I suspect DH thinks it's hideous. I don't like dressing gowns though as if you have any boobs at all the hood drags the 2 sides open. That sounds odd but hard to explain!

Chattyamy18 · 06/12/2022 09:32

Have only started wearing my oodie the last few weeks as never realised how warm it would be. Had a dressing gown once that nearly touched the floor so never again and not comfy.
In warmer weather I like my knee length bathrobe.
