Olaplex no6

So I ordered some olaplex no0 & no3.
they didn’t have the no3 in stock so sent no6 (bond smoother)
it’s turning into a painful experience sending it back due to the companies incompetence (look fantastic) so I’m wondering if it’s viRtually the same thing? And should I keep it instead?
anyone with any experience please?

No6 is a leave in conditioner. No3 is a pre wash treatment. I'd keep it, it's a nice alternative to using No4 all the time.

I love no6, it’s one of the best things I’ve tried to smooth my thick, frizzy hair before I blow dry it. I love it because you can’t feel it and lots of other similar products give my hair a weird, dry texture, this doesn’t.

Two completely different things. I love no.0 and no.3 on my hair (heavily dyed and bleached). If no. 6 works as a good smoother on your hair and you can afford to, keep it, but it’s not going to do the same thing as no.3.

As an aside I’ve recently tried the No.9 and - omg - best serum I’ve ever used (long, thick wavy hair, blow dried straight)!

I love no.6 - I use no.3 and no.6 all the time. I dont think no.6 works as well without using no.3 first though and same the other way around. For best results for my very thick hair I have to use both and its so soft and manageable after.

I’m sure I’ve read that 0, 3 and 8 are the only ones with the bond repair agent in them. The others are different sorts of conditioner - maybe good ones but not the Olaplex USP.

Can't you just ask for a refund and keep it? They sent the wrong one.
