Can anyone ID these jeans?

I love these jeans - apparently they're Levi's but I'm not sure which cut. Can anyone identify them or suggest something similar from another brand? Thanks!

They look like a variation of the 501 to me, I suspect it's this pair. Weekday usually has a lot of similar styles.

Thanks @botemp, those do look a similar shape. I don't like them as much but maybe that's just the colour and styling. I used to wear 501s in my uni days, haven't tried any since about 1995 - maybe it's time to give them another go! 😁

You're welcome, 501 jeans do tend to look very different from body to body, I assume she has a bit of a bum, or more curve than the model at JL anyhow. When that's the case you usually size up as there's no stretch in them and and the waist sort of looks like it sits like a v. On someone with less curve they sit higher on the waist and look a bit straighter. Give them a go but in keep in mind there's so many versions of 501s now that they can vary quite a bit.

I really like them @Judystilldreamsofhorses but they look higher waisted and more tapered.

I think I'm probably looking for a more late 80s bootcut - think early Kylie, or Madonna in the Papa don't Preach video BlushGrin Mom jeans would be more current though!

Maybe I need to go into a real live shop and try on some 501s...

They look like the 501s we used to wear in the mid late 80s. Takes me back. There was a retro shop on long acre Covent Garden that sold them. Happy days. Sorry that doesn’t help right here and now I know.

Yes I used to buy mine in covent garden too! A huge shop, I forget the name of it now, but it seemingly had every brand in every waist size and length. Sadly no longer there.

Look on Vinted , I have got a few pairs of old men's ones for about £10 .. make sure you size up . I wear 29 waist in women's 501 skinny and need 33 in men's

it wasn't Flip was it? They used to have so many other lovely things too - big tweed coats, bowling shirts. I still miss it!
