Round face - where does my parting go?

I have a round face and have pretty much always had my parting slightly on the side, lined up with either the beginning of my eyebrow or my pupil. I'm now wondering if this is actually the most flattering parting placement.

I have long brown hair (down to lower back), all one length.

Is that the best place for it?

I find a middle parting is more flattering for my round face (I was persuaded to change from side partying by by hairdresser & she was right). I've also got long brown hair but with long layers.
