Under eye concealer under or over foundation?

OK, so I've hardly worn make up since the pandemic, and never wore under eye concealer before. Got my christmas do coming up and realised how dark under my eyes looks. Have bought some under eye concealer that's meant to be 'illuminating'. I tried it on its own and could see a difference. Question is, should I put it on under or over my foundation? Have tried google, and opinions are divided. Don't want it to look cakey, or too heavy. I'm late forties if that makes a difference.

I put it on after doing all my other make up.

Don’t put foundation anywhere near your eyes, use the concealer, foundation everywhere else then blend it all together

Fab, thank you! I always used foundation round my eyes before, I guess because I didn't use concealer, but thought it was a bit heavy. I should probably have been using concealer all along!

I put concealer over foundation.
