Foundation... wrinkly skin please 🙏

Hi, can anyone recommend a foundation that gives moderate coverage for my skin please? I have 11s on my forehead and a few laughter lines around my eyes. My current foundation looks fine when first applied but a couple of hours later looks awful 😪. I'd love to find a matt foundation that doesn't sit in my wrinkles ...any recommendations please? Thank you!

Do you use a primer? Sometimes that can be all it takes.

Recommending a foundation is tricky - what type of skin do you have?

I have dry skin and the foundations I rate are NARS and No 7 Hydraluminous.

Bobbi brown skin if you want something matte or serum fir a more silky finish. Do you use a primer as that can make a big difference? Again, I like bobbi brown face base.

Thank you - no, I don't use a primer, I'll have to try. My skin tends to be a little shiny, and it doesn't help I'm really pale so finding a shade is always so hard. Thanks both, I'll have a look.

Does it need to be foundation?

I love IT Cosmetics CC cream, it’s much lighter and doesn’t settle in my lines.

I have Clinique even better foundation with serum, over Bobbi brown primer. I really moisturise thoroughly first. I’m pale and Alabaster works well for me, and they go paler

The Boots no 7 Hydraluminous is great. Dewy but not shiny and decent coverage, it comes in a wide range of shade too.

I'm 62 with some winkles, I just found the eborian cc cream, it's lovely doesn't seem to sit in my winkles so much, and lasts all day, on my combination skin, if I want a little more coverage I put a light layer of powder over. You can buy a mini size in boots.

@lindyloo57 where in Boots did you find your mini Erborian please? I just looked, and couldn't see the brand listed.

I'm 62 and like the loreal true match liquid foundation it's only around £8.50 on amazon. Its got spf and moisturiser in it and it definitely doesn't settle into wrinkles .
