How in hell are you meant to sharpen these eye pencils?

These are Avon Gel Eyeliner. Brilliant. Until they need sharpening. The case is plastic. The bottom of the pencil has a twist mechanism that doesn't work and I can't sharpen the plastic barrel in my sharpener. It's a proper eye pencil sharpener too.

I love the glide on texture but if I can only use it five times what's the point (no pun intended).

Anyone used these eye pencils? I was going to order some Victoria Beckham ones but if they have the same problem for three times the price ...

Does the end of it pull off? Sometimes with gel liner pencils the end pulls off and there is a built in sharpener inside.

I’ve just got a VB liner and you can order a sharpener with it so hope it works!

Are you sure you can't just sharpen it? I have had eyeliners in a similar 'plastic' case and I've just sharpened it as normal

Yes. I've googled it for you. You just sharpen. Watch here (try and ignore her horrific makeup!)
