Kerastase

I am looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. Dark, straight and thick hair, tends to look greasy after 1-2 days. My hairdresser recommended Kerastase and I saw there are some deals around now. Anyone who likes that brand and can recommend which type of shampoo? Or other brand recommendations? I usually use John Frieda Brilliant Brunette.

The Bain satin which is probably the original is gorgeous. I think the matching conditioner is called Lait Vital - lovely clean smell.
You will be able to get sets around this time of year including a leave in conditioner treatment.

Look fantastic website has a good Black Friday offer on this!

If you go to the kerastase website there is a questionnaire which will determine which products are best for your hair type .

I use the Discipline range (rose gold packaging). Second the pp who recommended buying from Look Fantastic for the best deals.

I'd do the questionnaire then look at look fantastic or feel unique if it's still around think it changed for offers

Feel Unique is now Sephora UK. I’d maybe ask and see if the hairdresser can give you any samples. It is lovely shampoo but I’m allergic to it and it was a very expensive way to find out! Curiously, not my head, but I broke out in a rash all over my body when I used it.

It didn't do much for me. Thought it was a bit of a waste of money and likely a gimmick.

as A long term fan of Kerastese, I’d recommend the nutritive one- it smells and feels amazing BUT for me anyway, it doesn’t do the job brilliant brunette, Pantene, or even the blue herbal essence does. It is such a gorgeous brand that I keep coming back to it and so get it from people for presents, but it’s very average. But you might love it!!

I also think the Pureology range is excellent. As is Redken All Soft.

Thanks all! Difficult decision 🤔
