Boden - true to size?

I want to buy a pair of dungarees from Boden but have never bought from this store, are they true to size? In most stores I'm a size 10 but in Zara for example I'm a 12 as their jeans size small. Also, Boden clothes aren't cheap - are they worth the money? Thanks in advance for the tips

Biden is really good at consistent sizing . They have a size guide for each item with actual measurements. I am Boden 8 in all their bottoms and Boden 10 in all their tops/ dresses and my Boden dungarees are size 8

I agree that Boden sizing is consistent. I like the quality too. Some of my Biden clothes are 10+ years old!

Old nice boden put detailed measurements for each item on the website. I guess they've stopped doing that too?

Consistent yes. I think on the generous side (My Boden things are a size down from the majority of my clothes and 2 sizes down than some of my comfy jumpers/sweatshirts).

Definitely true to size. Unlike Zara which likes to do the "mwahahha you think you're a 12 huh? Here, try an XXL"

They still do it! You click in size guide and scroll down to find 'garment measurements' eg as attached

Fairly consistent but definitely on the large side - seems to be designed for larger frames, rather like Whistles.

Hmmm I ordered a 10 in the girlfriend jeans and girlfriend dungarees so hope they won't be too big if their clothes are on the large side! Then again I wanted something not too fitted so might work out for the best!

I don't find them on the large side at all. Not like hush! Boden is utterly consistent I have only once sent something back that didn't fit ( rather than because I didn't like it in real, ife)

@almay8830 I ordered a 10 last year in the GF jeans and had to size down to an eight. My Mint Velvet jeans are a ten but whether they are true to size is anyone’s guess. I find it hard to really understand what a ten is etc due to weight loss so anything In a certain size range and I am still in a state of shock and awe at being able to fit in to them!

I'll let you know if they fit well! I hate that different shops vary it's so frustrating! I'm ordering from France too so will be a pain to send them back but some shops I am an .8... like m and s for example. Are you an 8 or a 10 in m and s? The Boden ones take 6 days to get here so would be great if the 10 fits

@almay8830 I don’t know what size jeans I would be in M and S. The last time I bought jeans from there was during the pandemic and they were a size 14.

Not yet!!! I ordered from the French site. I'm guessing there is no warehouse in France as says 8 days delivery wait

Jeans arrived and the fit was great! Very pleased!!

I'm not sure what that means in terms of quality. Half of my clothes are over 10 years old including stuff from fast fashion shops TBF.
