Root touch ups - home dye

I’m getting my hair coloured in a couple of weeks but before then I have my work Christmas party. My grey hairs are looking so bad right now that as much as I try to embrace them I just feel I end up looking haggard (I’m only 34!).

Does anyone have any recommendations for home root touch ups?

Get the L’Oréal root spray or even a macars and blow dry it into the hair once applied - don’t dye it as will ruin it ( I’m having to spend £160) doing it myself 🤯

Could you use one of those temporary spray things just for the night of your work party? I wouldn't dye it if you're going to get it done at the salon anyway

I use a Schwartzkopf touch-up for roots, from ear to ear and the parting.
Gives hair a nice shine too.

I've always used the L'Oréal spray on temporary root cover, but they now have this too in different colours and I'm going to try it

I've also used the Josh Wood root cover which gives a bit more coverage than the L'Oréal spray on root cover
