Avoid Jumper 1234

I just thought I'd warn anyone thinking of buying a cashmere jumper from this company not to bother, I foolishly spent almost £200 on one last year, washed it according to instructions and it looks like an old rag now with a big hole down a seam (it hasn't shrunk or anything, it is just all misshapen). A friend who owns a similar small fashion business told me to message them as she knows the owner but they couldn't have been less interested. Lesson learned.

Sorry to hear this, I have a lovely striped cashmere jumper that I have recently bought from there. I treat my cashmere pretty casually though and just put them in the wash with everything else at 40.. so far it has stood up to the test and seems fine. After how long did this happen?

Thanks @Boshi Just a couple of washes. I put it away for winter and when I got it out again I realised the neckline was out of shape and it’s completely unwearable.

Very surprised that you weren’t helped, I part own the company and we always give people the benefit of the doubt where washing is concerned especially as we can’t prove things haven’t been washed according to the instructions (unless they’ve obviously been boil washed!) did you buy the jumper directly from us? Please let me know the order number and I’ll investigate what happened and what we can do to help.

@rubbishjumper tagging you in case you don’t come back to the thread and don’t see Janew37’s message!

Ah thank you @YouOKHun and @Janew37 - will send a pm. Bought direct and yes messaged and told tough luck and I could pay their mender to have the hole darned, funnily enough I decided not to them any more money.
