It's everything I love, midaxi, mix of colours and velvet but I am moving house in December and I just can't justify the cost right now. I always seem to lose out in sales, if it ever makes it. Has anyone seen anything similar?

It's beautiful if you are small chested and tall but it's not an easy dress to wear again and again.

I can afford it but I have a lot of work to do on the house and furniture to buy and am a lone parent so am cautios with spending money on clothes I don't need.

I love it too. I have no where to wear it though ☹️

As a note of caution I bought a electric blue silk velvet trouser suit from next back in the 90s I loved it so much but it got a drink spilled on it. When I took it to be drycleaned they said they wouldn't be able to get the pile back...so I very reluctantly took it back for a refund..gutted. guess this being patterned wouldn't show so much though

Thank you all. I ordered it. I need to remember a couple of things.
Firstly I nought 2 very expensive suits from jigsaw years ago. I had those suits for over 10 years and they outlived so many other clothes and I was away complimented on them and I wore them loads.
I earn a great salary but struggle to spend on myself directly.
Lastly I would prefer less clothes but ones I love and will wear to death. Fingers crossed it looks as good as it does in the picture.
My company had just announced the Christmas party will be next week so it might work out better than expected!!

That is lovely. If it was above the knee, perfect. At that price I'd expect it to be absolutely beautiful in the flesh.

@HiphopReplacement I know there’s a place for garment rental if you only want an outfit for one specific occasion (be it wedding or week away) but surely there are other people like me who fall more in love with their clothes over time? Presumably the OP is hoping she’ll be able to wear this dress for seasons or years to come.
