Fleecy leggings

Am looking for some decent quality fleecy leggings to wear whilst working from home, not as a base layer though. They need to be thick enough to wear on their own. Have been browsing all day and can't find anything suitable. Any recommendations please?

Primark

If you live near a branch of Decathlon, their's are pretty good. They do online too.

Thanks both.

M&S Heatgen ones are great, very comfy and warm.

HickoryDickoryDot · 22/11/2022 19:25

RAB power stretch pro leggings are great, lined with cosy fleece and quite thick. Not see through. But £££ unfortunately!

Beanbagtrap · 22/11/2022 19:27

I find Primark is ok for a few washes but then are very thin.

Mountain warehouse do very very thick fleecy leggings but I'd size up, they are snug!

I have these, and my DM has two pairs. They are so worth the money!

I've had my Primark ones for two winters now and going into their third! They are as good as new.
The only thing is they can get a bit too warm.

Do the Primark ones get very bobbly after a few washes and lose their inner smoothness ?

santastolemycat · 22/11/2022 20:19

m and s heatgen all the way!! i’m a recent convert

Dox9 · 22/11/2022 20:20

Not quite what you are after maybe but M&S cosy jeggings are fleece lined and very stretchy and comfy. You can def wear them on their own.

csiga · 22/11/2022 20:26

I got a couple of pairs of these Asda ones over a month ago. Still cosy, very comfy, can be worn as an under or outer layer as not too thick but completely opaque, and still in great condition after plenty washing. Seem to be out of stock online but you might find in store.

In my experience yes. Usual Primark - cheap and cheerful, but not long lasting or great quality

These

I've harped on about these since someone else on MN recommended them. So warm, comfortable and water resistant. I muck out, work out, wear at home in mine I have 5 pairs. They wash well don't bobble. I'm a 12/14 and wear a large but could wear a medium. Leg length is good unless you're very tall.

M&S Heatgen fleece ones are toasty and so comfy and stretchy.

geraniumsandsunshine · 22/11/2022 20:58

Recently bought some for £9 mountain warehouse. Toasty. Ankle cuffs too

Mine haven't and I've had them for over two winters.

The reviews on those ones say they come up very small. Shame, as they're only a tenner.

QueueEtwo · 22/11/2022 23:04

I have 3 pairs of the Sainsbury £14 Heat Active leggings - they aren't very fleecy but they are definitely very warm!

Nat6999 · 22/11/2022 23:25

I wear the Heatgen ones & my legs are still freezing when I take them off, I'm thinking of wearing two pairs.

Depends on your legs. My sisters don’t but she has slim legs and no chub rub. Mine do but it’s nothing a fabric shaver can’t sort out
