Karen Millen quality?

Please can someone tell me what Karen Millen's quality and sizing is, please?

In the bad old days their quality and designs were stunning.

Specially, I am looking at their wool coats.

I think it's gone downhill pretty significantly from the old days (when I absolutely adored their stuff). They're owned by Boohoo now, aren't they? They seem to have gone down the usual Boohoo route of hundreds upon hundreds of products, rather than focusing on a limited, but quality, range, but they're still charging Karen Millen prices.

I'll be honest, I haven't bought from them since the Boohoo acquisition, but the stuff on the website doesn't look like great quality anymore. I have, however, bought from Coast after they were acquired by Boohoo and returned everything as the quality was comparable to ASOS/Boohoo/Missguided and nothing like what I expected from Coast before, so it's put me off buying from Karen Millen as I imagine it'll be the same story. I think there was a thing in the papers a while ago about someone buying something from Coast but receiving an item with Boohoo tags (I.e. they just have all the stock across the board and charge different prices according to which brand it is), but that may have been a one off mistake, I guess.

I completely agree. There used to be quality pieces that you would spend the money on for the right event. Now there are pages and pages of dresses, all of a similar price to before, but of a sub standard quality.

I don't shop there anymore as they are now owned by boohoo.

Trouble was they were the only place that had what I am looking for.

To echo what others have said - I spent over £250 on a few potential Christmas party bits from there the other week and was so disappointed.

Really poor quality, I ordered a dress with tiny sequins on and about 10 of them fell off just while I was trying it on. One top arrived with a mark on it.

I’m between a 10 and a 12 and ordered everything in size 12 as I know their sizing is generally small - three of the items were absolutely tiny and one was much bigger, more like a 14-16.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Poor sizing, poor quality.
